hopefully we can finally give it a real go and make shame of it, in one of crickets greatest Venues.

Merry Christmas Zorro.

I don't hold out much hope and feel the series was lost in the first test due to the choices the selectors made. I will watch for a couple of hours and hopefully, we can win the toss and do something with it.

Yes up there with seeing The Lions in NZ and The Mexican F1 GP.

God I hope we give it a go this test otherwise Root the captain is toast.

Merry Christmas BF.

I agree with the captaincy and feel it would be difficult for Root the captain to go back to being Root the batsman. He may need time away from the squad to be able to achieve this. Hopefully, he gets the results he needs.

So we are now going to take captaincy off Root and also drop our best batsmen?

It would have been at the top of my sporting bucket list. That said not now😂

Jokes aside it would have been amazing back in the day when we ended the Australians dominance. You'd want to be there when Cook was racking up hundreds.

I was at the Boxing Day test in 2010. It was superb. Skittled Australia out on Day 1 for 98 and we were 157-0 at the days end. Tied the Ashes up on Day 4 morning.

A far cry from now.
