Bournemouth sack Gary O'Neil

Maybe Harry Redknapp's dog had emailed Bournemouth's C.E.O about Harry's current availability saying he fancied a comeback?

Surely a club couldn’t sack a manager over an allegation which hasn’t yet been proved either way.

Hopefully a better option has just become available and it’s nothing more sinister than that.

The fact it’s the MET tells me it’s a London club as well, unless it happened when said manager was a player for a London team?

I hope the reports regarding a Premier League manager being questioned by police in the last 24 hours aren't linked here.

I doubt they are.

The owner statements on his sacking seem to indicate it's for footballing reasons.

I doubt the owner would be saying that he thought he'd have a long and successful career in management if he was sacking him for being questioned by the police.
Would probably open the club up to a lawsuit too, if there's nothing in the allegation.

Unbelievable. He did a great job keeping them up. Hope that tiny minded club gets relegated next season.

He'll be able to concentrate on his golf handicap now, like he did at Boro, feigning injury so he could play in a golf comp

the turnover for managers in the prem could have put most of them in the frame.

it does say premier league boss.. which is vague enough to include a whole host of positions.. maybe its someone who actually works for the league itself.. orrible whoever is involved.

I think GON did a decent job for Bournemouth but if they have a chance to go for potter then they should jump at the chance.
