I don’t recall any FFP penalties applied to us, unlike thone levied on Bournemouth the season they went up. It is undeniable Bournemouth players were coached to win penalties, hitting the ground at every opportunity which undoubtedly paid dividends for them, indefensible from any team and I utterly abhor McNair when he attempts to cheat - a trait he displays in every game and one of the primary reasons I dislike him playing for us.

They‘ve not done anything positive with the money generated had from the top flight, the ground is 12k capacity and no modern training ground to develop players. The model has been to acquire younger talent and sell it on without any thought of building a legacy in that part of the world.
 
there is always 4 or 5 teams in the champo who hit the magic teamwork button and out perform there spending and same for another half dozen who are in the playoffs every other season... Norwich will hopefully finish mid to lower , Watford and Bourn I think will be top half, Convinced if we had kept Pulis we would not have had the disaster we had this. Ugly footie but we just missed the playoffs last season... who knows what he would have done this.... 80% were baying for Pulis ( me included) to go but on hindsight maybe one more season might have done it

No, we should've just appointed a proper replacement for Pulis.

I think Pulis blew the play offs twice, first time v Villa and then second time when we lost 6 games in a row at a critical point in the season, I think that’s why he didn‘t get another chance, he had had his chance.

Exactly this. They were undoubtedly the best side that season not just in terms of consistency, but also to watch. I can’t believe people would be so bitter over a dive to win a pen when they absolutely battered us on the day. Every team has their divers we’ve had some shockers down the years.

I guess we're in a need of a 'bad guy' to deflect from all our problems. Fans slam and negate a footballing man like Howe but praise Karanka and his negative, defensive game. The chip on the shoulder of some of our fans grows bigger by the week.

Yes they may have battered us but there is also an art to defending & keeping a clean sheet when under the cosh, as much as I agree with your comments regarding consistency & attacking football, it doesn't give any team the right to cheat to win a game

I guess I'm going to have to pass on this debate now because we're polls apart and there's no point in continuing it. Bizarre to hold so much bitterness towards another club instead of looking at our own calamities. Sayonara...

Show me where I've shown any bitterness towards Bournemouth, or to any Bournemouth player on any thread

My post was in reference to a a poster that, irrespective of team, or football played it doesn't give them the right to win by a penalty if earned through cheating

It was not specifically aimed at Bournemouth, or any player, I've got nothing but admiration for Bournemouth or Burnley or Sheff Utd, though if you want to take it as such feel free
