Borrowing from Scubs...today I've been listening to...

I am decorating at the moment so have been listening to:
Uriah Heep- Salsbury, Demons & Wizards, Look at Yourself
Black Sabbath- Paranoid
Wishbone Ash- Argus
plus a shuffle of songs by Savoy Brown.
A nice 70s rewind!

I've got a digital subscription to Mojo these days so don't get the CDs - that one mentioned above looks great though. Three of my favourite artists straight off the bat.

Today I've listened to X - Wild Things (first time, and really like it).

And it must be autumn as Rough Trade have released their albums of the year so working my way through that - enjoyed Porridge Radio so far (y)
yeah Porridge Radio are class love the latest single Seven Seconds

Waiting Riddim - nice compilation album.

You have Joan Armatradings threatened heavy metal album to look fwd too, possibly. Can't go wrong as said.

Snowgoose by Camel (Scoobs fault for asking for prog suggestions)
Live at the Ryman Auditorium - Jason Isbell (my favourite songwriter at the moment, I cannot understand why this guy is not a global superstar)
Ordered Holy Moly and the Crackers new live album so that too when it comes

Neil Young - Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues (the live version at Dylan’s 30th anniversary concert)
Dark Night of the Soul - Sparklehorse ( the late but great Mark Linkous)

I too played Porcupines recently then went through most of there albums. Cracking band.

Yesterday I was listening to Peter Lacey for a bit of Brian Wilsonish pop. Everything but his first album Beam which is somewhere in the house but hiding from me. If you like the mellower bits of Brian Wilson you should check him out. Superb and he sounds like this.
