I think this might be a chicken and egg scenario. I thought Roberts was trying too hard, but at least he tried. You can’t blame him watching the lazy tw@t Assombalonga getting a game thinking “ why bother”!
 
Would have love a girl fest but very impressive performance all the same.

I actually feel a bit sorry for Roberts being given three minutes here and there- really? What’s the point.

A couple of players in January and this team could really kick on.
 
great result, smashed them in teh first 30, then snuffed them out for the next 30, then second wind and probably should have scored a couple more (Akpom!)
 
Great performance. We've been sloppy in the first ten- twenty the last few games, but we really got into them from the off. Pushed players forward and got the shots in. Much better on the ball.
2nd half just concentrating on not conceeding and should have added a fourth. Kept the energy up. I love how when defending the players stick really tight to their man and there's always second player to come away with the ball if they get a chance.
Tav man of the match. Watmore did well also but his energy just dropped off in the second half.

You're right you can't go wrong with a girl fest, but I think you may be on the wrong website.

Great result. Next 3 games are winnable too..UTMB!
 
Won’t go down well on here but I actually think Britt put in a decent performance when he came on. He worked hard anyway and was better on the ball than he normally is. Also agree Akpom did well apart from his finishing. All in all very good. Watmore is a boro player to the tee, we need to extend this lad as soon as we can.
