Boro v Barnsley

Bit unfair to pick anyone out for blame, mostly poor to terrible.

Browne - looked less like a sending off waiting to happen
Morsy - got 90 minutes
Folarin - is quick

That's it?

'Folarin - is quick' Hopefully but we didn't see that tonight. It's not a positive. yet

All you want to see at the start of a season is:
- Organisation
- A Plan
- Flashes of ability displayed from the 'creative' talent

Ideally good patterns of play honed by hours on the training pitches.
Maybe, even a sign of good youth players pushing through.
Even (don't laugh) one or two free kick routines.

For the last couple of years we haven't started to show any of these things - even by the end of the season.

I know it's 'early days' and we have the lurgy and that.........but getting tired of this shambolic set up

Come on Badonde, you saw plenty of that tonight. Albeit from the team in yellow!

Written off already by the looks of things. Bettinelli too. The FMTTM way i'm afraid.

you can have both, you can criticise a terrible performance without writing people off permanently or being a bedwetter. Unfortunately people are quick to do both extremes - take a totally negative stance and reject all criticism and pull the no true Scotsman fallacy out.

Criticism should be encouraged not feared, it’s ok to want to identify weak points and failure causes. It’s how you get better

Take a poor team. Get rid of 9 members of the squad. Bring in a loan signing a signing from a league below you and a centre half that had most fans going "who".
Garaunteed success right .
The manager needs help, the kind of help the club seems incapable of giving him.
Another long hard season.

Well said.

Absolutely dross performance, players all over the place, set up to lose that game.
What on earth is going on? Is Warnock trying to make a point?
If that's the case, this isn't the way to do it.
So disappointed, not to lose the game but just the manner is which we did.
Almost felt some of the players were stitched up

Wing is league 1 level at the very best. I’ve always been amazed that people think he is in any way decent but I guess that’s what it’s all about really, opinions
It seems like Wing hasnt progressed.
Doesnt deserve a starting place v Bournemouth

Some people wetting the sheets already :ROFLMAO:
Get it in perspective... FFS
It's the Bournemouth game that counts, this game means nothing (y)

So if we play badly then can we be frustrated? Just asking as I'd hate to jump the gun on being frustrated, I mean recent seasons have been so amazing that we all definitely need to calm down
