Boris torn a new one at select committee

Watch it back with some popcorn 🍿

Brutal is the only word, empty benches on the Tory side for PMQs

He’s close to falling now

Funniest thing for me though was how he was swinging on his chair during the select committee hearing 🤣
Incredible
He must of been so anxious and tense
Good!

His new restrictions on MPs voted by the House will affect less than 10 MPs .
Keep calm and carry on filling your pockets

Whoever fills his clown shoes, it'll be good news for Labour. The Tories are sitting pretty with an 80 seat majority because of the cult of 'Boris'. Once he's gone, their bubble is burst as the electorate take off their rose-tinted spectacles and behold the utter sh*t show they voted in.

Agree with all the other comments thus far…
I hope it’s not Sunak because he’s the only one who could keep hoodwinking the English public that the Tories are good for this country

What we need is total electoral reform so to reflect the voting public and therefore proportional representation

That’s the only time we’ll see real change

How many times have we heard that over the past few months.

The slimeball is in until the next election.
The difference this time being his own party are sick of the sleaze being exposed now. Before them, and by extension all the borisettes, would rally round him. Now the self centred, careerist MPs are realising that his sleaze and corruption is affecting their majorities.

He'll struggle on until the next chaotic shambles arrives - about a week then. Liz Truss will replace him

Funny as that would be, it would be a further humiliation for us as a nation. Imagine how far we have fallen in this past year, only to suffer the ignominy of someone so mind bendingly useless to lead the country.

Thanks to Boris and Brexit we already look stupid as a nation, this would make it much worse

As said above this isn't Conservatism but Johnsonism, and when he goes that concept collapses and with it a whole new era of realpolitik based on policy over personality can begin, it would seem that the defeat of Trump, increased isolation of Johnson and the continued airbrushing of the Corbyn days from the current Labour hierarchy that the phase of cult leadership and deviation of leader from party line is coming towards the end.

I think it's impossible to have a worse PM than BloJo. The worst in the history of the country and a real danger to our national security.

Even Laura Kuenssberg is sticking the knife in and is then threatened by the Culture Secretary Nadine "gets everything wrong" Dorries...

Who has now unsurprisingly deleted the above tweet, she would no doubt be the first to lose her position when Johnson gets the boot given how useless she is at everything.

I know this is serious stuff, what with our country being in such a state, but I must admit I'm enjoying the current downward trajectory of his journey towards people finally realising that their emperor isn't wearing any clothes.
It's interesting how even the Borissettes on here have given up on him. Even they know how much of a disaster is unfolding. Sure, @Lottowyn tried a half hearted and desperate deflection on the PMQs thread but even he must know how bad things are now.

I can't see anyone who could step in and attract the same support that Johnson has from the Tory voters?

Truss can't hold it together in an interview or any public speaking engagement and ends up looking ridiculous. The pork markets video is an hilarious example.

Major barrier amongst a small but significant band of tory voters against Patel, Sunak or Javid being leader.

Gove and Raab probably stand the best chance of being selected by the members.

Someone like Jeremy Hunt might also stand a good chance.
