Boris Johnson - next PM?

So it’s hardly a coincidence that the markets, having been stable since Hunt’s statement, have fallen again today on the news that Johnson is standing.
 
There's going to be an obscene media feeding frenzy when he lands in the UK in a few hours.

Pointless to keep thinking the country has hit rock bottom :mad:

A vote 6 years ago is still the will of the people, an election 3 years ago still provides a massive mandate but a letter of no confidence 6 weeks ago is something that can be forgotten about and reversed, we're being played for fools.

It’s amazing how powerful emotions take such a hold that they render generally intelligent people stupid and that they don’t realise it, or don’t care.

Critical thinking skills and their importance should be taught in schools with an emphasis equal to maths and English.

Multiple political commentators with extensive contacts in Westminster are saying he will struggle to get the 100 signatures needed to join the race.

I think it’ll be between Sunak and Mordaunt.
Westminster were wrong. He has just surpassed the 100 signatures required to stand.
