Bolasie wants £50k per week!

He's been on 80k a week for 4 years. So as a free you can technically demand a decent wage as the club signing you isn't paying a transfer fee. I imagine Britt will get 30k at many clubs due to no signing on fee.

I genuinely believe Bolasie will get 30-40k at a few clubs. So he's well out of our range.

I would say 10-15 at best and he's not going to go from 80 to 15😂
£80k a week for playing in the reserves. No wonder I am falling out with top tier football. Ridiculous.

Could see him back at Palace, Watford maybe Norwich might take a punt ??
He hasn't got the technical ability to play in the prem, they're well run clubs they know that.

He hasn't even got the technical ability to do well against top 6 championship sides, he has an absolutely awful record at that level.

Fair enough Pep.😂👍

He is decent at championship level , but also age 31 , so going to be hard for him to achieve consistency , and play every week .
We are looking at £10k - £15k max wages per week , or should be .
He wants more , so good luck , and I hope he Gets the right move.
Hopefully stay with us .
He needs to realise how it is now , wake up , and enjoy the rest of his career which has made him rich , and maybe put something back , by not putting money 1st.
Over to you Yan. Go out with a bang , not a whimper .

As Boro Mart says our offer will be around £20k/week plus promotion bonus - no Championship club wil give him £50k/week. I heard he was on £70k/week at Everton, but he has peaked and never really did it Premier League level. I can understand his agent starting high that's business. I'd like him to stay but we can only give him what we can afford.

Yannick Bolasie’s wage demands are pricing him out of a permanent move from Everton to Middlesbrough, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.

The 31-year-old is a free agent in the summer when his injury-dogged five-year spell at Goodison Park comes to an end.
He has been on loan at Boro since January and they are keen to convert his temporary deal into a permanent one.

But a recruitment source has told Football Insider that Bolasie is asking for too much money.

The winger, who will be available on a free transfer from 1 July, wants a £50,000-a-week package.

That threatens to derail a permanent move to the north-east, where the experienced wide man has made a strong impression over the last four months.

He has scored three goals and provided four assists for Neil Warnock’s side and reignited a career that had stagnated.

There is no way back for Bolasie at Everton, with manager Carlo Ancelotti freezing him out before the January window.

The £25million signing from Crystal Palace in 2016 has failed to justify his price tag since arriving to the club – his 32 appearances across all competitions have yielded just two goals and four assists.

Loan spells at Aston Villa, Anderlecht and Sporting Lisbon did not fare much better for the DR Congo international, and subsequently none of the aforementioned clubs tried to sign him permanently.

However, Bolasie has performed well at Boro and that is likely to lead to offers going into the window.

* I hope he finds his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

If you value him as a £5m player and give him a 3 year contract, that’s just over £32k a week saved by not paying a fee. That’s why his agent will be shopping him around for £50k per week. I’m sure he’ll end up on £30k-£40k or closer to £20k with a decent signing on fee.

There’s probably more chance of us signing reach .

I think dijksteel will get sold in the summer if a good offer comes in , I think Bruce expressed an interest, wel take gayle in exchange. Maybe that’s why we signed fisher .
