Bolasie, Kebano, Mendez Laing

Jutkiewicz was and is much more of a handful than Akpom. Albeit quite a limited player.

I'm still not sure what kind of a striker Akpom is, other than an average one.
I agree he is more of a handful than Akpom, I just meant Akpom is similar in the way he seems to occupy himself with the defenders instead of concentrating on himself. He did it a few times last night, and also turned his back on a ball over the top from Hall. It looked very strange, even the commentators were calling it out. It is like he isn't thinking clearly. He came through at Arsenal and has done well with PAOK, he must have more about him than what he has shown so far in terms of anticipation and positioning.

Fletcher's recent record.

Middlesbrough 89 League appearances ..... 19 Goals

Sunderland 16 League appearances 2 Goals

West Ham 16 League appearances 0 Goals

So his record, primarily at championship level, is 121 appearances and 21 Goals.

Apparently we have offered him a new contract, of some description, and he is taking his time to consider his options before putting pen to paper.

With that record, I am fascinated to know who else would be interested in his services as a striker. If our contract offer is still on the table then I hope that Warnock does the right thing and bins it before Fletch susses out that there will be no offers from elsewhere to consider !
Do you not think the way warnock has talked about the strikers this year. fletchers maybe thinking if he brings in 2 new strikers, I'm not getting a look in, so may want to look at offers where he will be first choice? I think he has improved from his first few seasons and a good run upfront he could easily get 15+ goals with better attacking players we are bringing in.

On the right money I'd keepp him, he's a decent player. I reckon mid table championship clubs down would snap him up.

Wouldn't want to rely on him being first choice next season but out of the 3 we currently have he'd be the one I'd happily keep.

We're stuck with one so get rid of the other two, they're only ever going to be on the bench at best if we're going to go up.

Its all about wage expectations. I'd happily keep Britt if he was willing to work for £5k a week and accept his place as a benchwarmer.

I'd like to keep all three but think only NML will stay. Bolasie is easily EPL quality and Bolasie will likely get more money elsewhere (although will need to take a pay cut versus what he's on with Everton).

This is my point though, I don't think as a squad striker you're getting much better than Fletch. So if we can keep him why wouldn't you? He's better than Akpom so to suggest you should just not offer him anything because Akpom is still here doesn't make an awful lot of sense to me.

I don't really understand your point. I was talking about Fletch as we know he's been offered a contract and obviously one which the club feels they can afford. I was saying I'd keep him in those circumstances if he wants to sign.

I was just saying I wouldn't be desperate to pedal any of these players if they were willing to work for a lot less. Fletcher is surely one of those. I'd hate to think we'd break the bank to keep him after what has been, by and large, a very disappointing 4 years (with the odd flash of promise).

Don't get me wrong, i don't think Fletcher is great, but he's a different prospect now compared with up to and during that Sunderland loan spell. His current stock is a little higher that those stats would suggest and i think there would certainly be interest in him from Championship clubs.

No point in keeping an average player such as Fletcher. 2 new decent strikers (and a keeper) are a necessity to make a serious attempt at promotion.

Ah fair play! I've got to be honest I disagree with Britt I think his attitude since Jan has been pretty awful , so kind of can't wait to see the back of him.

I'd keep Bolasie if we can, and sell all the duds for a half decent goal scoring forward and a goalie
not sure we have any truly saleable assets other than Tav and Fry and I definitely don't want either of those to leave, that would be a disaster

Djiksteel, bola and mcnair are now saleable assets surely? Would hate to see any of those 3 plus the 2 you mention go though!

But he didn't play CF for most of those games.

As a CF in the league he has 16 goals in 54 starts and 30 sub appearances. About 1 in 4

If you look at the last 2 seasons as CF it's 12 goals in 32 starts and 9 sub appearance about 1 in 3. Plus he has 5 assists. It's not terrible and has clearly improved. Would need to stay fit and get another 5-10% out of him and he could hit 15-18 goals at this level. Certainly a lot better than Britt without truly being outstanding.

To a degree but not enough for a squad rebuild. Would prem sides be interested in those 3? Maybe McNair at a push, so you might get about 9mill max for him. The other 2 won't get prem interest until they have another season of performances like this one.

Fry and Tav could both get mid table prem interest this summer, Leeds or Everton even Arsenal could take an interest then we are talking 25mill plus

The ideal think would be for Fulham to stay up, spend 50 million on a striker and we get mitrovich on loan. Add a goalkeeper and two of the three we brought in in January and we would be competing at the top.
A good striker would make a huge difference to this team.
If they stay up they probably should move on from Mitrovic, he's the perfect example of a Championship god and premier league chump. He's still got 3 years on his contract but is out of favour with the manager, which is a dilemma for them.

Mitrovic with Tav, Bolasie and Kebano setting them up would be superb

Salary and location would rule Mitrovic out I think , although I would love him .
Oh , and Wyke scored again .
