Pitch definitely hindered Bolasie, kind of hard to dribble on a ploughed field.. Spence and Akpom though, utter dross the pair of them

I would put Howson in the dross bracket today. Johnson poor, Bolasie did nothing, McNair game mostly passed him by. Only Tav until he went off played ok. Even Bola was ineffective but think that was due to link up with Johnson not working. None of the subs did anything. All in all a pretty poor day in the city.

He’s not even a fancy dan though, the ball just canons off him every time as he has zero touch and zero ability to control the power of a pass.

Bettinelli had a decent match. Trusting Grant Hall was his only mistake.. who himself only made one.
2nd half we looked stronger, 1st half we weren't really at the races.

The first game back after injury Howson ran around like a mad man and was immense, ever since he has been really poor. Spence has some talent but not the composure or concentration.
