Board is getting a bit narky at the minute

Every reasonable thread turns into a slanging match with certain posters(including some Admin) slagging off anything they don’t agree with.
Won’t give names but we all know the main culprits
Admin barely ever intervene, what are you on about?

I wasn’t expecting my Anna Turley thread to turn into what it did. I just stopped reading it after about 100 posts.

We need a new signing desperately.
Yep.
We need to hear whose coming to the Riverside other than the apprentices from London.
Is Archer coming back?
Will Zadine Iqbal be joining us on loan?
Is Ryan Giles joining Sunlun?
Was that Tommi O`Reilly on Darlo station on the way from Villa?
Will Michael Carrick wear a different watch in the coming season?

It is dead easy to take the written word the wrong way and people can interpret it differently compared to their own mood. Emails are a fine example of this.

But some posters on here are so far up their own @rse their heads are sticking out of their mouths.
In truth, about 95% of the board has. We all post on here probably because we want to to talk about Boro/football & other board themes more often than our family and friends do, and need someone to listen to our opinions. Otherwise, why bother? 🤷🏼‍♂️

A lot of my Boro supporting mates aren’t all that fanatical so they don’t post on here or anywhere else.

It's understandable that people turn to online communities like message boards to discuss their interests. These platforms offer a space for fans to connect with like-minded individuals and engage in discussions that may not be as common or in-depth among their family and friends.

Sharing opinions and engaging in conversations with fellow supporters can be a way to feel a sense of belonging and have your voice heard within a community that shares your interest and delve deeper into topics. It provides an opportunity to delve deeper into topics related to Boro and football that may not arise in regular conversations with friends and family who may not be as fanatical about the sport.

In addition, message boards often provide a platform for ongoing discussions and a place to stay updated with the latest news, rumors, and insights about the team. This can be especially valuable for fans who are eager to immerse themselves in the world of Boro and football on a regular basis.

While it's true that not all Boro supporting fans may be active on message boards or online platforms, this can be attributed to various reasons, including differing levels of fanaticism, preferences for other forms of engagement, or simply not being aware of such communities. Each fan has their own way of expressing their support and engaging with their favorite team.

I'll put it down to lack of football, and all quiet on the Boro front.

But loads of threads are now descending into people getting proper narky with each other. Not enjoyable. Probably stopped reading / contributing to more posts in the last couple of weeks than I have in 20+ years being on fmttm.

Think a lot of people just need to chill a bit 👍
This pre-season is lacking the Djed Spence factor, his move and David Levy were an easy target to take all the frustration of last years long hot summer. The club are really quiet on everything this summer so there is very little to argue over Boro related.

That last sentence is gonna confuse poor bumface 😉
I'm being nice to you for the moment coluka. That could change very quickly. If I wasn't sitting here waiting to do a bit of bat-watching I'd track you down and eat your face for insulting me and my people like that.
