Billy Sharp

dear me ... only Wrexham To be honest I didnt know who they were playing when I heard the interview and assumed it was away to a prem club bragging about how they were going to stuff little old blades....

They are the kind of things you might think about after a game but would never share them with anyone else. A little fist pump in the dressing room would have been sufficient.

I've always liked Sharp, I believe he is an honest pro, but he's let himself down a little with that interview.

I love a good minnows story in the FA Cup, but I am happy to see the back of Wrexham. There's just something about the Welsh!!

The smaller clubs (fans, players and pundits) just get carried away with the emotion. I remember in 2006 when Nuneaton forced a replay with us. The next round draw was for the winner to play Coventry away, which was basically a local derby for Nuneaton. Their fans, players and even the local press were talking about it as though they had already won the replay at the Riverside. Needless to say we battered them and went onto reach the semi final. I really wouldn't be getting angry about it.
