They should not exist, its akin to Smaug sat atop his pile of gold. Once you hit 999 million you should get a certificate that says I completed capitalism and then be taxed at 99% on all their wealth over the billion mark. What is the point in anyone hoarding that much wealth? Especially given the inequality that exists in society.

I think you are being more than generous at 999m it should stop at 100m. You can't realistically spend that unless you are utterly debauched.

Absolutely! You are right, 100 million seems a more reasonable number.
I just don't see how anyone hoarding that much wealth and resource is anything but a negative on society.
 
All very interesting but I'm fascinated by the scale of difference between a million and a billion, which is quite hard to grasp.

1 Million seconds equals about 11 and a half days; 1 Billion seconds, on the other hand, equals approximately 31 years and 6 months!

That would chop about £170m from Steve Gibson and a fire sale of your best players as he looks at the priorities for is ailing wealth.
