Big man / little man

Inspired by @atypical_boro post about the decline of the big man / little man partnership it go me wondering what are the great partnerships from decades gone by. As a 6ft 4 man with minimal footballing ability the "big man" role was always one I could at least fulfil. This feels like the final death knell in my hopes of a football career.

So to cheer me up as I wave goodbye to my chances of pulling on the Boro Nr 9 shirt lets list the great partnerships.

I'll start with the obvious and my favourite
