Is it just me that is a bit out off by the fact the Plymouth manager selected Whittaker for the Burnley match on Wednesday but Whittaker never bothered to turn up? That doesn’t strike me as good tbh.

Nobody knows the truth of what went on on Wednesday. It is convenient for Plymouth to put the blame on Whittaker.
Correct - but he's gone on loan to stockport as of yesterday
Had a bit of a sulk everywhere he's played by the sounds of it - bit of a gamble in that respect I think

Do we know that is the full story though? Or just a manager who's been pumped 5-0 at home throwing a player under the bus? Maybe someone higher up took Whittaker out of the side because of the ongoing transfer.
Wouldn't be the first time a manager has twisted the truth to suit them.

Yeah could be that but for me someone who’s paid by the club should be willing to put the shirt on at anytime when required even when injured.

Doesn't mean much when he's only been here 6 months. Can only really comment when he leaves the club. Who knows what he might act like if he'd get an offer to move elsewhere or found himself out of the team for an extended period. He might be fine but a bit early to judge till he's gone.
