Hopefully just paper talk. Can’t see there being a club who will be looking to make him there no 1 in the prem.

Pretty confident he will still be here at the end of Jan. hope we manage to sign him permanently

I didn't realise they had a Jan recall clause. I thought that was usually incase they weren't playing.

That said his contract is up in the summer and his agent is maybe throwing his name about or maybe trying to nudge is into doing something.

I don't believe they would get much with 7 months of contract left. You'd think 1mil at best. It also doesn't name these interested clubs. So many of them could be as a back up as most prem clubs have a decent keeper. So would you go from playing every week to prem No2 - No3?

That said I guess a 3 year deal and 40k a week you would😉. I presume Randolph is 'happy' going from champos best keeper to bit part league Cup one.

I said the other day that's its hard to fully judge him as a keeper. He's part of the best defence in the EFL but I don't recall him having a worldie (like Randolph regularly did). That said his kicking and organising looks top notch. I imagine he would take some replacing halfway through a season😕
 
Had a shaky start and improved, but in all honesty I don’t think he’s had that much to do recently.

Probably just paper talk, if he isn’t going to be No1 at Fulham I can’t see him doing it anywhere else in the PL unless there’s an injury to one of the lower club’s keeper. He’d be doing a Randolph and sacrificing first team football for easy cash on the bench.

He’s better off where he is.

He will not have a say in it though

It’s Fulham who will make the decision to recall and then accept any £ a club offers so he doesn’t go on a free
 
You’d hope he’d want to stay. He might be settled and enjoying his football.

Is he really going to want to sit on someone’s bench? I doubt it but money talks.
 
Looked very iffy at the start but honestly how many saves as he made in the last 10 games. You don’t want to disrupt a solid defence but I wouldn’t get into a bidding war over him (which prem team would make him number 1 anyway), there would likely be as good a replacement on loan from the prem to replace him anyway so not fussed either way.
 
It’s amazing how people make footballing judgements, I haven’t watched all the games but is he any better than when he arrived, has he pulled off any world class saves, won us games - no would be my answer. The defence has worked so well he has had little to do, it’s not a criticism of him but I’m not sure how that translates to him being in high demand by prem clubs. Either lazy scouting or lazy journalism but there is no real evidence to explain why he would be in higher demand now.
 
I agree he hasn't had a lot to save usually 1 or 2 shots per game.

I hope I have not cursed him , but I felt something positive needed saying after all the negative stuff in September most of which was not deserved.

Much of the newspaper interest for players is generated by players own agents - to keep them in the news. Something that Neil Warnock mentions through the media.
 
I think the biggest things he's brought is a 'voice'. We heard Warnock say we need leaders down the spine.

You can her him shouting on Ifollow. He actually don't shut up👍. I imagine this is very reassuring for a back 4-5.

I'm not sure he would be a priority in terms of our slender budget. I guess he's on a few quid as well as signed a prem contact at Fulham (last time around). That said 1mil or so he's a decent signing for 'continuity'.
 
Rarely tested so it's hard to judge how good he is, but I think he must be an important part of keeping the defence organised as he never shuts up.

I'd be disappointed if he went in January.
