It's just that she wasn't in control of the mute button and was never afforded the luxury of a follow up question.

You should have noticed that whoever the Government put up never actually answered the questions asked of them. They gave answers to questions that weren't actually put to them on almost every occasion.

And had a mute button for avoiding any challenging follow up questions to highlight their lack of answering questions

Whilst I agree to an extent, the general population weren’t hypocritically and publicly criticising anyone and everyone for breaching the rules as part of their jobs, whilst at the same time sticking two fingers up at the rules themselves.

When she was digging out politicians for months and months about covid I think she was very lucky to keep her job.

she got suspended and very nearly lost her job for putting peoples lives at risk with no care or thought for others. I’m sure if I looked I could find posts from you whining about Dominic Cummings going to Barnard Castle yet this woman’s offence is much worse as she unequivocally broke the rules and was caught doing so, so why should she keep her job?

She's in the public eye though so to be expected.

The level of hypocrisy in this country when it comes to Covid is staggering. And that includes Joe Public. I'm not defending her, I just think a 3 month suspension was harsh.

I suspect that her suspension was more to do with Sky spinning her faux pas into something positive (making them look strong, no nonsense etc).

Well no such epiphany has happened since 2016 so I don’t really see it happening now. Apathy, entrenchment, ignorance? Who knows why.
