Best 2nd Tier team ever.

See my post people say it’s a chip but sadly the evidence is there it’s not paranoia we are always missed out even the british legion forgot about us.
 
Weren’t we statistically the best second tier team yo yo team as in we we were either fighting to up or fighting to stay up.
 
We were that boring that season that some teams wouldn’t have got a touch if they had been 2 balls on the pitch.

We just played teams off the park. Ask Sheff Wednesday what they thought.

Didn't see the list but I would assume the forst team managed by clough would be there, they were promoted and 2 years later won the european cup, if my memory serves me right.

Oh I also agree about charltons boro team, though my dad tells me they were a bit boring to watch - go figure.

Boro won the ASC in 1975, Forest won the ASC in 1976 & looked what followed their trophy win, what happened to us
 
I would argue that in the last 20 years or so the standard of the English leagues has improved due to the high number of foreign imports. All the big leagues have improved as the poorer leagues have declined.
