Jude Bellingham?? Surely not.
Snag is 99% of the general public will never have heard of the Barkley Marathons.Jasmin Paris should be in there as well the first woman ever to complete the Barkley Marathons
Completely agreeKeely Hodgkinson a surely a shoo-in to win it, and would be well deserved.
Root far and away the greatest 'sportsperson' on that shortlist though.
Only won one stage this year didn't he?Where's Cav?
Its hard to see how Brook doesn't make the list to be honest.
To become the all-time leading stage winner in TdF at age 39Only won one stage this year didn't he?
Yeah but, personally, I don't think breaking those kind of records warrants it, as the vast majority of it didn't happen this year. For me it should be someone who has risen to the top of their sport (Hodgkinson, Yee) or in some cases, maintained that (Root). Cav was a worthy winner in 2011.To become the all-time leading stage winner in TdF at age 39

Bellingham has also done that across the year but he will be mostly be remembered for not quite delivering in the Euros (despite his brilliant last minute winner).
