I don’t want them bust but I’d love to see it go belly up for them.One of the biggest issues they’ll have in future is Real Madrid will be banking 100% of their TV and merchandising revenue, while Barcelona will be banking well below 100% of theirs. They might keep pace with Madrid now but at what cost to their future.
It’s good to see La Liga standing up to them. You’d never see it here. They’ve been investigating Manchester City for three years but seem too scared to follow through on it.
One of the things with Barcelona is that they didn’t even *need* to do this. They have a core of excellent young players in place and could’ve built around them. Aubameyang AMD Lewandowski AND Dembele? Why?
And publicly pressuring players to take pay cuts or leave the club completely is reprehensible IMO.
