My son will be in Paris this weekend (shocking timing) - any recommendations re bars that will be showing the match?
Thanks
Good call on The Bombardier for footy watching. You can then nip round the corner and pay your respects to Alexandre Dumas, one of the greatest of yarn-spinners.When I lived in Paris I used to go to The Bombardier in the Latin Quarter to watch games, just near the Pantheon on the corner of Place du Pantheon and Rue de la Montagne St. Genevieve.
My other tip to anyone going to Paris is go up Tour Montparnasse so that you get to see Tour Eiffel on the skyline which is much prettier than Tour Montparnasse and half the price.
When were you there? I was there 95-96 - lived 5 mins up the road from the Frog and Rosbif - also watched a lot of games at The Cricketer and The Bowler (mentioned above)When I lived in Paris I used to go to The Bombardier in the Latin Quarter to watch games, just near the Pantheon on the corner of Place du Pantheon and Rue de la Montagne St. Genevieve.
