That is the part that doesn't make any sense to me.Appalling reading that.
Mostly locals smashing up their own town and attacking their own people. Disgusting.
I remember at the time the right wing trolls on here were claiming they were riot-tourists shipped in from around the country and not locals..said with absolute authority on here…they were wrong, it’s our own dumb racist scrotes that were doing itAppalling reading that.

There were some outsiders involved, there was a guy that phoned LBC and said he had come from Essex to be involved, but the report says the vast majority of those arrested lived within 3 miles of the riots.I remember at the time the right wing trolls on here were claiming they were riot-tourists shipped in from around the country and not oocals..said with absolute authority on here…they were wrong, it’s our own dumb racist scrotes that were doing it
Absolute utter rubbish - repeat that again on here and you are banned. The riots were racist in origin - and the Starmer/Liebour agenda added with the lies about the origin of the scum who murdered those poor 3 girls just fuelled them
Cannon Street riots - probably result of rumours spreading - false rumours - so certainly has something in common with the recent riots.I don't condone any of the rioters and their behaviour in the Summer it was totally unacceptable, but the Middlesbrough area has always been prone to bouts of violence. Wasn't there race riots in the Cannon Street area in the 1950s with smashed windows in houses? I don't know if people were hurt but it was nasty. My granny told me there were running battles in the streets in 1926 at the time of the General Strike. The battles were between strikers and police and probably strike breakers. An uncle told me she was knocked unconscious in a fight outside a Middlesbrough pub that was described by her as a riot. She rarely went in pubs and was a regular chapel goer. Across the river Tees in 1931 there was even a battle in Stockton, when Blackshirts attempted to preach and recruit on the High Street and clashed with communists. One Blackshirt lost an eye from a razor blade and many people were hospitalised.
I’m not sure you have read my post correctly- but there were zero justification for the riotsAbsolute utter rubbish - repeat that again on here and you are banned.
Disgusting that someone should be still peddling this complete lie as if it is some kind of justification.
The anti Starmer anti Labour lies were disgusting and peddled by those who were against the election result - and are now having their pathetic ‘petition’ for an electionAbsolute utter rubbish - repeat that again on here and you are banned.
