They shut off a lot of that area for the families of the kids doing the half time penalties and the ball boys etc, i know i tried to buy an extra 1 and they'd shut off almost the entire bottom tier of the North to cover if friends and family wanted tickets and on the day the place was emptyOver the weekend you couldn't buy tickets. The club do a really good of job of making it too hard to buy tickets sometimes. The North Lower can't be right surely?
30,300 I think I heard. What was the official attendance tonight?
Well I was wrong on that one!!No way North Liwer is sold out but still looking like a decent attendance..
They is also 2k segregationOnly 6 or 700 seats left unsold this afternoon.
Where have all our seats gone?
We used to have 35000.They is also 2k segregation
Segregation is mental. A wall type structure like West Ham have just put up, or a copper/steward on every seat with a spare seat or 2 between would suffice. I know it's only for 1 or 2 games every 2-3 years when we sell out, but it just looks a bit crap the frayed, knackered old netting doesn't it.We used to have 35000.
We now have 31000 available.
We lost a few hundred with the big screen and the TV gantry.
The level of segregation is ridiculous.
We added 5k in 98 and now have lost most of them!
