Asylum seekers to be housed at Catterick Garrison...

Read my post again and tell me if it really says I haven't been for over 20 years.

I think you struggle with basic language and comprehension. If you are interested in improving that please send me a message because I can point you to some good online resources for literacy (y) :)
I don't need to your first response is typical answer of someone how doesn't attend matches I know people who travel half way across country to attend and have health issues just stay behind your keyboard while to rest of us support the team

No sure what this has to do with asylum seekers...

Wow, I'm not a real fan unless I literally risk my life to go to matches?

What an idiotic thing to say.

By the way, you said 'they play Huddersfield tomorrow'....surely it's we play Huddersfield tomorrow. Unless you're not even a fan and just here to stir up trouble. Hmm.....

Don't try to change the subject you know what you are nothing but a keyboard supporter with a dictionary

You are having a nightmare here to be honest.

So according to you, someone can't be a fan unless they attend the matches?

Someone who had a season ticket but lost their job so can no longer attend is not a fan?

Someone who had a season ticket but moved away is not a fan?

Someone who had a season ticket but got an illness so can't attend is not a fan?

Someone who simply can't afford the expense of going at all is not a fan?

Are you absolutely sure that's what you want to say?

Did someone who changed the subject from asylum seekers to match attendance then tell you off for changing the subject???

What is going on? I wonder what the barely comprehensiblw one thinks about housing asylum seekers?

Can someone tell me why we have numerous defunct military camps dotted around the country? Why have these not been converted to new towns etc?
Or here's and even wilder idea, fill them back up with servicemen and women. If someone pulled a Russian card on us we'd be scuppered.

Maybe because they are told to, not choose to? A huge amount of those people are being trafficked, yet you don‘t see or hear anything from the Government about tackling the criminal gangs facilitating this.
Innocent question.

How does the government tackle these criminal gangs when they are ultimately based in countries that aren't the UK?

A valid question.

It would have been far easier when we were in the EU for sure.

I don't think that will/would make a difference.
These gangs aren't based in Europe. The ones who are are just 'cells' of the main head honcho's.

Maybe. But as part of the EU there was more motivation for other countries to assist us as we had return agreements with them which we no longer have.

Really good question. I don't know the answer at all. Collaborations with security forces of some countries would be possible but Afghand, or Russians, or Kurds,? No, not really. I guess this is where, in this day and we still need a strong security service and M16.

When large populations of generally males descend onto a town or city, then it’s only natural for local people to be worried and suspicious. Even if you are a left wing liberal, would you be worried if it happened to you next door. My mam has lived in the same street for 50 years and in that last year now has 6 Albanian men move into the street. Easington Colliery and Horden has just seen the arrest of more immigrant drug dealers linked with county lines.
It’s this scum like this who are creating changes in government policy for those poor souls who need our protection. I worry about mam constanly as I try to think to myself her new neighbours are ok.
