I’ve thought that. Thinking the delay was because of his involvement with the World Cup.. but then they could have just said he would be joining after the World Cup?

A lad got a photo with Carrick, Pulis and Pearson outside the ground after the game and posted then on twitter so he was definitely there.

It absolutely won't be the case, but Pulis would be a decent choice as an assistant.
We'd certainly concede less.

I know a lot of fans hated him, but he did okay for us and we'd never looked stronger defensively.

I'd prefer it wasn't him to avoid the controversy, but he knows the league, he knows the club and he knows.the game.

That would be a pretty unique situation, a new head coach with two former managers as assistants. I get why Woody would come back, local lad, still relativly inexperienced. Harder to understand Pulis returning.

Agreed I would be absolutely devastated if he ever had any association with the club again. He killed my enjoyment of watching us for two years

That’s not much to compare himself to. Pulis sold our best players and replaced them with hugely expensive rubbish which took us years to clear, all whilst playing the worst football I have seen watching this club
