Ashes to Ashes is good

£85 is a lot but a rarish box set of 3 series and thats the going rate. Netflix is your solution but content differs country to country so may not be an option in NZ as Cardiff says.

Opera browser has a free VPN so region can be changed easily enough.
Fair enough if NZboro wants to watch it that way but word of caution. Opera browsers built in VPN is more a proxy than a vpn. And not sure how strict NZ would be with that. That may be an option.

They did find it on some stream somewhere, but I was more talking a DVD. Not sure it's on New Zealand Amazon . It's well known that we have the worlds worst library in Netflix, Amazon etc, there have been a few articles on the content over here.
No E74, as we dont pay the BBC licences fee we cabt get bbc I player.
Get a vpn, set it to the US. you'll get a tonne more content then!

Loved it too, got Life on Mars on DVD but can't find Ashes to Ashes for love nor money; the kids were going to get ti for me for Christmas and couldn't find it online at all.
You can see the whole shebang on BBC iPlayer (y)

That's one for my eldest daughter, my brain has just exploded reading that, and I was a mover!

There was one episode with a scene shot outside where I worked. In Tabernacle Street. North of Liverpool Street in London.

A2A, Life on Mars mate, did you see the part that was filmed
I cannot remember which series it was. It was filmed at the weekend. So we did not see it going on. They filmed quit a few scenes in the area if I remember rightly. A long time ago now.

There was a Life On Mars twitter watching party, hosted by the writers last night and it was attended by both Philip Glenister & John Simm - Gene & Sam. They were both saying how they'd love to work together again and John Simm tweeted at the end:

"Sam and The Guv's last scene together. Or is it? #Lazarus"

Given 'Lazarus' was Bowie's last hit and begins "Look up here, I'm in Heaven...", the possibilities now look quite enticing....
