Ashes - 4th Test

Looking at the BBC weather app.

From tomorrow it is apparently going to rain for the rest of time in Manchester. The forecast is abysmal.

I really hope it is wrong. If it is correct then I recommend the good people of Manchester commence building an arc pretty sharpish.

Looking at the met office forecast only Saturday looks really bad, few showers on the other days.🙏

BBC weather app is dreadful since they flogged it off to the highest bidder. I don’t use it at all these days.

As others have said only Saturday looks particularly bad on the forecasts I’ve seen so looks like we may get 4 days of play.

I said after the 2nd test they wouldn’t drop Crawley because he had a score and had some runs

I would have personally dropped him. Natural ability in abundance not sure if he has the concentration for this level

Fair play though, turning out to be having a decent series all in all. Proving almost every punter wrong, me included

Was hoping for 200/3 at Tea, so 239/2 is outstanding. If we maintain the scoring rate of that session, we'll be level by 5pm. IF we can do that with wickets in hand, I expect us to try and score even faster against their tired bowlers in the last hour and a half of the day.

Fantastic innings to watch from Crawley, hopefully we can get a decent lead so we don’t need to bat again. The conditions forecast for the next three dayssuggest if we get play they’ll favour our swing bowlers🤞
