Are you jokin'

Needs some coaching for media interviews as a priority. He was the same when he was with us but I can’t believe this hasn’t been picked up by the clubs he has worked with.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with what he said or the way he said it and if Brian Clough had said the same thing in the same way we would be laughing. Also, think about it from the player's point of view. His manager is fully versed in his history and abilities. Things like that help you to win over the dressing room and if it means stopping an interviewer in his tracks then so what?

I can't see anything wrong with it either TBH
I like Woody & hope he proves a success at Bournemouth, I loved his ideas of how he wanted us to play, unfortunately we didn't have the calibre of players to play, think that's were he fell down
IMHO, Gibbo should never have given him the job & the same goes for Southgate too

The interviewer just assumes his knowledge, it's his job why wouldn't he have heard of him ? Go to a pilot and say "now you won't have heard about these 747's....".

How come "Neil" can do what he wants in front of a camera, and it's passed off as part of his appeal but as soon as anyone else shows a bit of personality then it's frowned upon. I guarantee that if "Neil" had done exactly the same you'd have half the board looking like this    .

It's not personality, it's being an ****.

He's been at Bournemouth for a 4 days, and in charge for 2 days, with no prior connection, I expect the interviewer assumed he might not be too familiar with one of their newer players yet,

Danjuma had barely played in England before this season, so I don't think it was an unreasonable assumption that Woodgate might not be familiar with him.
Apparently it was a wrong assumption, but it is surprising that he religiously watched the football of a team in the Dutch second division whilst he was on the youth staff at Middlesbrough.

Woodgate is always defensive and he's spoken to him like **** immediately, I assume that is one of the regular Bournemouth interviewers too

It was genuinely embarrassing when he started abusing that female interviewer whilst here for daring to ask him a question.

Tbf you don't need to be a pilot to know of the existence of 747s... You really should have used an obscure plane for your example to work.

I genuinely thought that was a wind up!

The guy is arrogant beyond belief, which I could just about deal with if he had an ounce of ability

That is the difference between him and Clough.

I thought he was quite frank in his reply, showing his 'sensitive' side lol. I think the reporter will think on before making assumptions next time, and fair do's he did say sorry to Woody.
