Just looking at upcoming gigs at The Arc and I notice that they have adopted the horrible practise of "dynamic pricing". I hate this basically the price of tickets goes up and down according to how many they have sold. I can't imagine there is much touting of tickets for events there and I bet the extra doesn't go to the artists.
For example, Limehouse Lizzy (a Thin Lizzy/Gary Moore tribute) have sold out The Forum Darlington for £18 a go, Arc has them currently at £24.50 for March next year. I hate turning ticket buying into a gamble, the thought that the person next to me paid more/less is really fkken annoying. They can fkk right off. I don't know of any other local venue doing this my only previous experience of this was Springsteen tickets and that was bad enough.
Why Arc, why?
