57 nationalities in my neighbourhood and they made a lot of noise for the NHS. You may say it's a pointless gesture but I've seen nothing like it before.
Sad for me that the focus is the NHS. Yes all of the NHS staff are doing a great job. The thanks should have been more inclusive. There are many other professions putting their lives at risk for the good of all of us. It would have cost nothing to broaden out the thanks. Not taking anything away from NHS staff.

Lots and loud in Notts(y)
After this has passed, woe betide any politician who suggests private healthcare can help provide what the NHS provides for all of our people. Healthcare is a right, not dependent on how much you have in your wallet.

Healthcare workers and pretty much the soldiers of this war, the frontline

There were many people involved in world war 1 & 2, but soldiers get the main focus due to being frontline.

These people are going to work knowing they’ll likely get it and the dosage they’ll Get could be lethal

When you start including more than one institute you’ll just get what about this and what about that.

I honestly believe the nhs is the most deserving of it, due to be under massive strain already and now have this coming. I believe the focus on them was right

It was lovey - no doubt about that.
I guess those working in the NHS will look forward to the next pandemic so some people can ease their conscience and show support again.

I hate all this clap for this and do this for that. Sorry but they just do a job they chose to do, no one forced them to do it. No one claps me and my team's for keeping various government departments running.. can I now take the miserable tosser of the board award?

For example, the police force are in exactly the same situation. Over here significant numbers of the police force have been infected.
