Applaud NHS at 8pm

I hate all this clap for this and do this for that. Sorry but they just do a job they chose to do, no one forced them to do it. No one claps me and my team's for keeping various government departments running.. can I now take the miserable tosser of the board award?
Like I put in my earlier post, it wasn’t just about clapping for the NHS but for everyone who is working hard to keep the country running and looking after our wellbeing. Last night was good to see my local community come out as one to show their gratitude. It was also good to see people laughing and smiling at a time when we have little to smile about.

You are saying that. However to my knowledge it was not promoted like that. It it had been I would not have had a moan about it not being inclusive.

that I agree with, I'm just not a clappy bravo well done for doing a job kind of person. Seeing the likes of the Beckhams and other "celebs" doing it for self gratifiction really fucjing p1sses me off.....
However as we had a walk out today, it was nice to see other people out and about making sure we all kept our distance.. apart from the 4 cyclists sweating their arses off, on the pavements expecting others to move out of the way...

Spanishman - I think it is what you want it to be and take from it what you need.

I’ve spent hours this week trying to keep 80 students grounded and on track. We have had a forum for them to speak of their fears and I have tried to address these. Last night it was good to hear people laugh.
