I’ve had a a tele for 25 years, necks too thin really prefer my JazzmasterVerithin too big and bulky for my liking.
I have a Telecaster. I'd never part with it but in truth I don't love it that much as a guitar.
I always wanted one from mams catalogue - no chance…I'll stick to my Westone Thunder 1A
So when you're mam caught you reading the catalogue you managed to get her to believe you were looking at the guitarsI always wanted one from mams catalogue - no chance…
That's a cracking guitar to have had at 14I once had a USA RR Jackson FLying V ... not the kind of thing I would dream of using these days ha ha ... but thought it was the best thing in the world at 14 years of age. Had a fretboard a dream to play on and a loud guitar, Floyd Rose the lot.
Not quite Gibson or Epi, but still a V
I miss the thing and wish I still had it as a novelty item for the wall or sommet haha
Too right. I only had a Satellite with action so high you could keep your sandwiches under it.That's a cracking guitar to have had at 14
That was Glen Campbell's instrument of choice, but could make any guitar talk. A great guitarist, a sad ending with dementia but he could still play right up until his death.I’ve had a a tele for 25 years, necks too thin really prefer my Jazzmaster
Wow. That is a choice. I'm not a fan, but do appreciate anyone liking something less mainstream. Really interesting.Yeah Vs are utterly impractical.
My guitar fantasy is this, 67 Vox Starstrem XII, but they are rarer thana geordie who opposes sportswashing. View attachment 63348
I haven’t seen one on line for sale for a few years and they’re real collectors, built in fuzz and reverb too.Wow. That is a choice. I'm not a fan, but do appreciate anyone liking something less mainstream. Really interesting.
Really interesting. I would love to try one out. I remember Musicground in Doncaster used to keep that kind of thing in stock when they were around - I miss that place. Loads of vintage electrics. Not sure where I'd go, to see that kind of range, now - York possibly. No one carries that level of stock now.I haven’t seen one on line for sale for a few years and they’re real collectors, built in fuzz and reverb too.
Might have to be for a 66 which are easier to find and cheaper but aren’t semi hollow and don’t have built in effects
I never even had one at 14, I'd only got as far as looking at the Kay's guitars in my Mam's catalogueToo right. I only had a Satellite with action so high you could keep your sandwiches under it.
