You're right though, it's still not without its faults.

With 2 teenage daughters I not so enthusiastic about it. Plus I can't stand look at me show offs I came of FB for that reason. I had a school friend who would post pictures on FB every time he got a first class seat on the train with work stupid things like that put me off

I think social media in general can have a very negative impact on kids these days, pictures of people who trade on image, which usually involves the shallow aesthetics of appearance, wealth and unattainable lifestyles.

I don't do much social media these days, other than Insta for specific content (ahem, suits you sir!), hence I spend too much time on here.

Facebook is littered with either people giving me their opinion on stuff that i either don't agree with, or just don't care about, or people simply showing off.

Twitter is a cess pit, awash with pseudo Oscar Wilde's trying to type witty ripostes.

I can't believe I'm saying this but this place is my antipathy for the nonsense on social media.
