We all know Tottenham know our situation, with needing to sell to get players in etc so they'll just drag it on for as long as possible and not increase the offer
I think the way wilder worded it was that we weren't going to sign Smith if there's any chance Spence could be staying. I'd say that chance is less than 1%, and a deal with Smith will probably already be agreed. We are being very professional about all this though, which is a breath of fresh air.Do we, has Wilder said that or are people just putting 2 + 2 together ?
The only statements have come around Smith, and whether he signs for us depends on Spence leaving, but I don't know whether it's impacting our ability to bring a striker in say.
