We were established in 1884 and this incredibly talented footballer & truely phenomenal goalscorer (for both club & country) made his debut for us in 1892.

What a strange situation it is with Derby. A club shafted by Mel Morris where fans have developed an illogical hatred for a person not at fault for their troubles.

There's probably a case study on the human condition there. Humans tell themselves stories to make sense of the world and it seems Derby fans on mass make believe Gibson is the monster. Weird.

My office is just south of Derby, the office fan base is split between Derby, Villa and there’s a couple of Burton fans. Unfortunately our Derby fans are pretty reasonable and not a patch on the mentally challenged, gullible knob heads that frequent that forum. They weren’t happy when they thought the claim was 40mil but once explained that had been made up by the club to deflect attention from other stuff and it was actually around 5 they could see they were having the wool pulled over there eyes unlike the majority of there fans. The Villa fans wind them up way more than I do though.

The team that won the league after Cloughy had departed was managed by the very person brought in by Clough & Taylor, Boro linjed again, now where did those 2 come from again, 🤔
 
I'd love someone to ask them A) why IF Steve Gibson was the only thing holding up their takeover why couldn't it be completed by now?

and B) If the reason they haven't been able to confirm the takeover now gibbo has stepped aside is it because they don't actually have agreements with other creditors like HMRC etc al? Therefore, clearly, Steve Gibson wasn't the only thing stopping it
 
I'd add a C.

If SG was to blame for all of Derbys woes and was such an unreasonable bloke, how come as soon as MM/DCDC started to take the claim seriously and open dialogue, the issue was very quickly resolved.
