Any wonder we are struggling

I fear you just can't flick a switch & go back to where we were , far too much disruption to squad lately , barlaser was garbage today passed it ok .....where it did not matter, riley was a plus but rusty , in general a hard game to play in as it was insignificant , but i expected more from us !!!

I still think we have what it takes to win the playoffs but so do other teams. Nothing installs confidence into a team more than winning football matches. A few months ago we still had aspirations of automatic promotion but since then we have lost many games and may end up 20 points off Sheff Utd. Our form is dipping just at the wrong time of the season.

Just waiting to get the train at Rotherham central, what a strange game. Sending off harsh, but game a real non event. Not sure why Steffen doesn’t dive for the goal and Smith will never score if he doesn’t put that in today. Only positive is seeing Riley back fit!

We were lucky with lack of injuries over the Winter and we were getting unsustainable results over 2 point per game which most fans thought was the norm for us. The last 2 games I don't think we have been second best, but results wise we have.

Today I thought the sending off was not a sending off, Jones was clearly pushed over in the box in the second half - those are massive decisions and completely change results. The pen at Luton was clearly not a pen. During the winter we didn't seem to get those against us.

We do seem a little too laid back in defence for me and so never keep clean sheets, certainly away.

Possibly after the Huddersfiled and Burnley games it seemed we are a bit in Play Off preparation mode.

Archer - played 45 mins
Hackney - played 55 mins
Smith - played 45 mins and just back from injury
Ramsey - didn't play
Howson - didn't play
McNair - just back from injury
McGree - just back from injury
Giles - didn't play
Forss - didn't play
Fry - didn't play
We’ve gone from the same first XI most games to making 4 or 5 changes, largely enforced, every game. That’s the problem

When our first play off Semi Final kicks off, it will be 0-0, we'll have the best 11 players available to us on the pitch, and they'll be as well prepared as possible by Carrick and his staff.

At that point how many people will give a seconds thought about today, or any other game in the last few weeks?
