Any season ticket holders thinking of wrapping in yet

Well I’m already invested to the best part of a grand this year with our 2 tickets. I’ve been through the Strachan / Mowbray etc. days and renewed.

Don’t see me abandoning ship now, despite how bad it is. I may say different things in the heat of the moment but when push comes to shove, I find a way to sell the renewal to myself.

On Saturday I’ll pop out to meet the lads for a few beers. Win, lose or draw, I’ll pop out after for a couple to celebrate or wipe the memory bank as best I can. It’s more than just football for me.

Be interesting to see what the second class supporters do, the walk ups.

Obviously the highly attractive pricing structure will keep most happy but anticipate one or two may not make it (bloody part timers etc etc etc ).

Shirley not

I know it’s bad, but fcuk me its been worse.
I’m considering whether I’ll renew next year. Not because of the standard of football, I support them however bad they play. But what I’m struggling to stomach is paying the prices we are with nothing to show for it. I feel like the fans are pulling their weight but SG isn’t.

The investment in the playing staff over the last two summers has been pitiful. We supposedly have no money despite approx 30m in player sales in the last year. We wouldn’t pay a reasonable fee for Giles yet miraculously have money available to upgrade the seating in the directors box. We can’t even arrange a proper club shop. The management of the club (not coaching) is a joke.

I’d imagine there’s quite a few season ticket holders that wish they hadn’t bought a season ticket at the rip off prices the club put them on sale for..
Yes, the decision to charge fans a fortune off the tiny bit of success we had last year is really going to backfire now. Expect the ground will be half empty when it would have been full with sensible pricing

Don't we have somewhere in the region of 22,000 season ticket holders?

Yes, me. But not for the current farce the club are in - God knows I've witnessed enough of them in the 36 years I've had a ST/C - but for the entrance-by-smartphone policy the club are implementing.
