I stopped playing when I beat my 7-year old granddaughter in 2 moves.
That's the pinnacle, nowhere to go from there.
The opportunity presented itself and I couldn't resist.

What was she thinking going for that opening, 7 year olds should know better

I used to beat loads of people in 3 or 4 moves, but stopped doing it against people I didn't know, as I nearly got my **** handed to me for trying it one time against bloke who I thought was an idiot, I was wrong. Ended up on the back foot for a good half hour.

I used to know a lad who was a pretty good player who always wanted to play as black, could never get my head around that, not if you're playing people the same level or unless you're doing it for practice.

Sorry not been on much last couple of days to play against (get beat)by you, had my older 3 kids down for a few days. I took them back today so should be free more often to play chess.

No problem mate. It’s why I usually set up 3 day move games. Always got something on myself

I used to be a great chess player, then I tried again recently..... Oh god I am way too impatient now and make stupid moves
