Hi all just before Christmas my lads and I lost a lifelong friend at the young age of only 22 obviously this is such a hard time for his family my boys and I are doing a sponsored walk from Sheraton pub in Stockton (close to his home) to the Riverside Stadium and back on Tuesday 7th January. We are raising money to help fund the funeral. Any sponsors/donations massively appreciated and will go a long way.

Massive thanks to Yvonne Ferguson at the club for helping us raise £300 for a signed shirt. Credit to the club.

Is this the young lad who died from an asthma attack? It’s tragic in any case but that one seemed even more so with it not being drug or crime related and him having a young family with a baby due in a few months.

Yes that was Callum mate
I thought so. It caught my attention because I lost a good friend in similar circumstances at 18. It was 25 years ago but it feels like yesterday. If I could offer any advice it would be to use it as an opportunity to tell your mates how much they mean to you and encourage them all to make the most of the opportunities they have in life. Small changes at that age can have a huge effect down the line and a group of friends supporting and holding each other accountable can lift the whole group to levels you won’t believe possible.
