Anxiety re play offs

I keep telling myself that I would love another season in the Championship.

But then I wake up fretting about Howson and Forss and if Dijksteel will play.

I'm walking the dog humming Boro songs like a madman.

And I'm already logged into the ticket system.

Why do we let it do this to us? I'm a reasonably sensible late 40s father of 2. But this stuff makes me feel like I'm about 6 and never got promoted/been to Wembley before.

Not worried in the least we have the best team and squad. If we dont go up at least we have carrick instead of wilder next season so i cant see where all the negativity comes from
We do have the best squad but with the injuries we've got if Howson misses out, who's really been key this season, I think we won't win as comfortably as we can. I wish we had Dael Fry but for me it's clear him and Carrick have had some sort of bust up, I expect he'll be sold in the summer. Forss and Ramsey I think we realistically need one of them back but no chance both of them are.

How is it clear Fry and Carrick have had a bust up 😂😂

I was actually heartened by Mark Robins and Tony Mowbray's comments after the match yesterday when they were both talking about their achievement at finishing in the play-offs compared to Carrick who was talking about being ready for the next big match. I'm probably looking into it far too much, but perhaps Cov and Sunderland both feel that they're reaching their limit?

I get what you are saying but to be fair they scraped in the play offs on the last day so they are obviously gonna have that joy and good feeling immediately after. We have knew our fate for a few weeks now

I get really nervous in big semi finals or finals as so much to lose. I just realised i will miss next sundays game as will be in church at a wedding at 12.15pm so i will miss out on the tension. In a way im glad i can just check the score at full time and hopefully its a pleasant surprise.

They might not have but I just can't fathom how he's been out this long :ROFLMAO: understand the funny side of it because I am just saying that based on pretty much nothing. But I just look and think how's he took a whack in training and been out for this long, just gives me the feeling that they've had some sort of fall out

He looked happy enough yesterday clapping the fans.

Fry has never had the best luck with injuries, and just seems like he’s had bad luck after bad luck towards the back end of this season. Was only a month or so earlier saying he’s never enjoyed football as much as much as he has now playing under Carrick. I don’t think Carrick would hamstring us and not play Fry just because of a spat. He will be injured.

I'm fairly relaxed but also pretty pessimistic.

Nothing to do with this particular Boro team, I think they're fantastic and in theory have every chance.

But of course we've never won at Wembley and therefore I find it hard to picture us navigating our way through them. Seems like the sort of thing that happens to other clubs, not us! It'll go wrong somehow 😂

It is what it is the Norwich defeat hurt .. losing to Sunderland and we'll know how the mags felt in 1990

Not this nonsense again. There is absolutely zero evidence of this.
Carrick comes across to me as someone with integrity who speaks honestly whenever he's interviewed. You're basically saying Carrick is a bare faced liar who's been pedalling us bull**** for weeks when he's repeatedly said Fry is injured.
