Anthony Joshua Agrees Terms to Fight Tyson Fury on December 3rd (or not)

Off topic but Otto Wallin has apparently received an offer to potentially fight AJ next. Wallin's only loss was to Fury, arguably if that fight was anywhere else except Vegas, it would have been stopped due to the horrendous cuts on Fury's eyelid. He caused Fury problems throughout.

Dangerous fight for AJ?
dangerous, but a good fight

Still better than Chisora? Or is Wilder great? 😂
Wilder is ridiculously underrated on here after the Fury fights. I doubt Joshua would want to touch him with a barge poll, that’s a career ender if Wilder bangs him out.

Let’s be honest you’d give Joshua 50/50 at best in that fight as unless he finishes it early Wilder can and will catch him at some point. Doubt he has the recovery of Fury in that situation.

Wilder has a great punch but a huge glass ceiling to his ability levels. He's very dangerous for 2 to 3 rounds against anyone. But get beyond that and he's utterly vulnerable. Helenius IS better than Chisora, and Wilder is not great, just powerful

It's probably 50/50 because of AJs lack of head movement. But, wilder doesn't have good head movement or punch recovery either

What has Helenius done since Chisora battered him to make you think he's better than Chisora?

There's a reason for that, some people on here are clearly team Joshua or team Fury and certain fighters' resume's get built up or knocked down to make one side look better or worse.

Wilder gets called overrated and average because it then makes Fury's resume look weaker, take the three Wilder fights out of the equation (like Eddie Hearn did recently) and Fury's record looks very average. It's a pretty ridiculous argument to make really, we all know Wilder has technical flaws, but he catches every fighter that he steps in the ring with and the majority of them end up flat on their backs. Boxing isn't just about technical skill; Wilder has the power to put virtually every heavyweight in the world away.

I'd only pick Fury with great confidence to beat Wilder out of the full division, Wilder and Joshua are 50/50 fights as is Wilder v Joyce. Usyk is far superior as a technician, but he isn't completely unhittable. Wilder has been a top 3 heavyweight for a number of years and its only down to the emergence of Usyk and Joyce that his place in the top 3 is at risk.

Where do people rate Dubois these days? Granted he went down the pecking order after the Joyce fight.

Remove Fury from Wilders record and who has he fought of any note?

Sorry misread your question.

Not much but he’s still dangerous. He wouldn’t be a formality for anyone and nearly sparked Fury out twice.

Whyte and Klitschko didn’t get near to troubling which makes you think he has something about him.

He's got potential, it was a close fight against Joyce until he got his eye socket smashed. Probably up on the scorecards.

He hasn't really been tested since he came back so hes got to prove that he's over that loss and back to where he was but there's no reason why he can't get himself into world title fights. He's got years on his side. He needs to.be looking at stepping up again now.

Quite looking forward to seeing Wilder face Ruiz. That will be a good fight. I think Wilder will knock Ruiz out but Ruiz will definitely pose something a bit different.

Difficult one to call that but agree interesting. Ruiz has fast hands and a good chin but has never faced that kind of one punch power before.

Bang on. Couldn’t agree more with this post.

Wilder is hugely underrated on here. And it’s mostly by those who are pro AJ fans.

It's nothing to do with team A or team B, it's purely that he has only beaten one top 15 boxer, and that was a 40 year old with a heart defect. If he wants to be taken seriously he needs to fight top boxers.

I think Joyce finished his career that night - I think he was down on the scorecards, Joyce jabbed his head off.

Wilder has knocked many of his opponents out 9+ rounds. He’s always in his fights due to his right hand. I actually think I’ve underrated wilder perviously.

I think he beats Joshua. He’s gone long with Ortiz twice, totally outboxed by him mind, but Ortiz is more technical than Joshua

Stirvene will have been top 15 when he beat him for the title
