Another Starmer U turn

Not only has it been denied by Labour, Lindsay Hoyle and the deputy Speaker,

Genuinely what would you expect them to say? Fair cop guv, you've caught us?

but there have been corrections made around this online.

Please feel free to share links (y) I'm not totally sure what you mean at the moment, has Watt said it was all made up or something?

I've said before, and I'm more than happy to repeat that you're an excellent poster and contribute a great deal to this board.

🙏 thank you WG, thats very kind.

However, you really do at times show such dislike towards Starmer and Labour

I've said it before, but its really not personal for me. Purely transactional. If Starmer was willing to adopt a big, left, difference making policy then I'm a voter ready to be won. 🤷‍♂️

Let’s be honest here. Starmer could swear on his children’s lives, Hoyle on his spiders life, they could take lie detectors, produce a video of the meeting and you still wouldn’t believe it @SuperStu!! :D

However, you're questioning whether other people should do Jury Service @SuperStu?

I've said before, and I'm more than happy to repeat that you're an excellent poster and contribute a great deal to this board. Additionally, I think we both share the vast majority of our political positions. However, you really do at times show such dislike towards Starmer and Labour that you could rightly be accused of the tunnel vision that others on this board sometimes get accused of.

I'm not saying this to argue or have any disagreements because as I say, I think we're probably very, very close politically.
I keep trying to tell Borofur that we probably have a lot more in common politically than he thinks. We just disagree about Starmer and that's fine. Sometimes he listens, sometimes he doesn't. He seems to be in a bit of a strop with me at the moment. Have a word with with him WG and tell him to stop being such a silly sausage. He'll listen to you.

It was all worth it to hold what you and a minority of the county perceive as the moral high ground though right?
Of course! Tory hegemony continues ad infinitum as 'we' continue the real fight: stopping reformists gaining power and then going on to dupe the workers into thinking their improving health, income and education outcomes are ACTUAL gains - as opposed to short-term reversible tricks that the ruling class has permitted in order to provide a patina of 'democracy'.

Reformists will never understand that only the total overthrow of capitalism is acceptable and that extra £1 an hour in your pocket is just your compliance being bought. If you eat even one mouthful of that takeaway you've dared to buy for your kids you are a fatally compromised slave operating under 'false consciousness'. Unfortunately, ideological enslavement of the masses is now so deep and pervasive that the proletarian vanguard has no choice to to seize control of and repurpose the reformists' political organisations in order to bring about revolution. Repellent as it may be to have to pretend to be reformists.

(n.b. This is actually how the people Corbyn surrounded himself with think.)

Now you're talking sense (y) ;)

F*ck off. Centrism is a mental illness. I feel sorry for you and for all the rest of the clueless Starmtrooper cultists. You're just like the Brexit zombies. There's something seriously wrong with you.

You need to buck your ideas up bucko and take the beret off.
UTB.

It's the dog who wears the beret, not me. I'm not hiding my great hair from the world under some daft hat. The dog reads Sartre and Camus and smokes French cigs too. He's cool as f*ck.
Gitanes eh, like a piece of chalk. My Dad thought he was a philosopher and I listen to Pete & Dud which was a drunken Philosophy course which came in useful. I give the cool badges out around here. What type of dog is it ?

He's a border collie mate. He doesn't understand cherry tomatoes. He freaks out if you roll one at him and it's the funniest thing in the world.

Lovely dogs. Had our dog away for 4 days at Winfell Centre Parcs, really good too. The daughters dog was with us and is a Cocker Spaniel. its only ever barked once, gentle as anything but mad as a fish when walking him.
