Another record for pep

On the original old site Fraudiola thread I copied-&-pasted the bald fraud's list of trophies and awards from Wikipedia.

Always tempted to do it every time but jesus christ it takes about two minutes to scroll past.

Yet another record for the bald fraud.

Whilst sitting 10 points clear in the league, a final to come in the carabao cup, and still in the Champions League and FA Cup.

One mans battle against the riches of the Premier League, building a group of global misfits on a shoestring budget into a unit that just might one day not only win the league, but a cup as well and lets not forget, all this in the midst of a pandemic. A modern day Hercules, a titan. One day he may even have a cheese named after him like our own Gianluca Feta

I think they were 15/8 to win the league in December (just heard on radio). They would probably payout soon.

It's amusing listing to all the bitter scousers on Talksport. That will be 3 titles in 4 years and multiple domestic cups.

The only stick anyone has to beat them with is the champions league. It's a cup competition that's often down to luck of draw of ref decisions. Plenty of brilliant teams / managers have failed to win it.

I hope they clean up. The thing that always amuses me is that Liverpool / UTD fans always comment on how much they spend. The dominent Liverpool sides of the 80s and UTD 90s out spent everyone. It's just that city did it over night.

The only side who never 'bought the league' is Leicester (I include Blackburn as 'buying it').

He does seem to have found a way to make them defensively tighter - which was always my issue with them: all played as individuals, not as a unit.

He's bought a team (as other clubs before him did) & done very well domestically, he's not really brought players through a system - only Foden. They play a more pragmatic tippy tappy these days, getting the ball forward quicker & even some long passes - they could & still can be narcoleptically boring to watch up to the attacking 3rd.... & I still preferred to watch Jupp Heynckes, far more successful, Bayern side than Peps..

Will they win the PL, probably.. will they win the CL.. very possibly there best chance & that will be the measure of him as he's 'only' won it at Barca when they were at their peak.. If you spend, that, much money & have the calibre of players in your squad he has & does have - expect the most critical appraisal..

To win the champions league they will need to beat Bayern Munich....
