I think they could avoid relegation too. It would be outstanding for them.Derby only 8 points from safety now. With this much of the season to go, I'd say it's starting to look likely that they'll survive. (Will be some achievement to get over a -21 point deduction).
We might get Saturday 12th Feb off if they don't have a buyer in place by the beginning of next month. The team have done brilliant since the points deduction with another excellent result today
You can see it from a Derby perspective as a grudge match next month against the mighty Boro
Is that right, sad reallyWe might get Saturday 12th Feb off if they don't have a buyer in place by the beginning of next month.
They are that close to going into liquidation.
Yes it is, that such a proud club has been humbled by the greed of money men.Is that right, sad really
After what Rooney's done at Derby, I am sure he will have a few offers and I dare say Everton will be the most tempting for him. I do think he would rather stay with Derby to show his loyalty.Sounds like Rafas on his way out at Everton, Wayne Rooney!
Derby would be due compensation, think that could be a factor. After what Rooney's done at Derby, I am sure he will have a few offers and I dare say Everton will be the most tempting for him. I do think he would rather stay with Derby to show his loyalty.
Dead right it's sad. Sad for their supporters, playing staff and backroom people. The to**er who got the club in this position has gone, they've been deducted bucket loads of points and the EFL come back and potentially will end the club . That does not sit right with me at all. Financial/Book keeping fraud is just as much the responsibility of the EFL who monitor it, it's like they are saying now oh we've noticed another thing, let me add to those 10's of thousand, more misery. They are bullying Derby cos they can.Is that right, sad really

For supporters like you and me, of football, I hope we don't up get caught by the EFL for something that has got f'all to do with what goes on the pitch and we get put through the misery those at Derby are going through.
Just when we have something to cheer about here at the Boro, people are looking at us and what S.G is perusing and thinking why kick a man when he's down.
Who'll walk away scot freeYes it is, that such a proud club has been humbled by the greed of money men.
The EFL have had their chance, they need to re-write the rules. But no club should be removed from playing if there is someone out there prepared to give it a go and bale them out. Let Ashley put his money in, and lets get back to football.Rob mentioned that there was more to it than the loss of earnings due to not reaching the play-offs and seemed to know more than he was letting on. I dare say all will be made clear one day.
Would you be willing to forgo the claims against Derby if they got relegated to the old fourth division?
