He's an absolute perma crock and would probably demand a few quid. I know Watmore came back from 2 really bad injuries. Carroll had been crocked the majority of his career.

If he was fit and played every week he’s get goals. In reality, he probably wouldn’t entertain a pay as you play deal as he’d never be paid. So we’d have to take him on a wage, I don’t think he’d have the desire to get himself fit so would be a huge waste of time.

If he wasn’t a crock, he would be playing in the Premier League anyway probably. He’s still only 32 and was a good player before injuries finished him.

The only reason he would end up at a club like Boro now is because he’s finished. So it wouldn’t be a good idea to sign him.
