All English premier league team

According to the Athletic (sorry I don't know how to do links on my phone), the last time an all English premiership team was fielded was 25 years ago by Arsenal
Remember when McLaren fielded the local lads at Fulham ? Were they all English.

Yes they were. I think there was only Christie who wasn't from the north-east.

TBF, Morrison was born in Darlington (the Tees Valley!) and didn't opt to become Scottish until 2008!

It was by Aston Villa, not Arsenal. The Guardian mentions Boro, but also say Morrison ended up playing for Scotland so that team at Fulham doesn’t count. That team remains the youngest in PL history.

I take issue with them excluding Morrison. He was English at the time (and still is?).

Definitely still English. Just like quite a few English have played rugby for Scotland in recent times.
