We do have ipedal animals/mamals and birds.. Apes, Monkeys. Kangaroos, Meerkats.. ish.. Penguins, Owls, Ostriches.. just thinking with the eggs if they are not just some ceremonial/fake lumps.
My point wasn't about how widespread it was in fact the opposite. The human profile is an evolutionary marker of how successful that profile is therefore alien life forms (if they exist) could also evolve is a similar but not exact way.How successful do you actually think it is here on Earth considering the vast vast majority of life doesn’t have the human profile.
Yes, all mammalian life has roughly the same skeletal layout but configured differently (whales have hip bones, the ‘frames’ of bats wings are finger bones) but only humans solely walk upright.
Exactly, see above post.True, there are a few more bipedal animals, although I’d say apes, monkeys. kangaroos and meerkats walk around more on all fours.
The point still stands that the human (bipedal) profile is extremely rare in life forms.
If it wasn't for the asteroid wiping out the dinosaurs we most likely wouldn't exist, so the most successful profile here (and possibly alien) would be reptilianMy point wasn't about how widespread it was in fact the opposite. Would they have progressed as much as the humanoid form did - we will never know. However the fact the mammalian group survived shows a successful profile which evolved to form we are discussing. If it wasn't for the asteroid wiping out the dinosaurs we most likely wouldn't exist, so the most successful profile here (and possibly alien) would be reptilian
I have never watched a whole Star Wars film but that's Yoda isn't it?
Looks faker than a Neymar penalty appeal.
They have 9 brains which helps a bit as well.I think I read somewhere that developing opposable thumbs was key in our development. It allowed us to complete tasks quickly and made life quite easy for us.
So something to grip with would be necessary. It is no surprise that octupi are good problem solvers as they have the same ability, though evoloved very differently.
That it does, but I think a fair amount of the brain power is to ambulate. They have 9 brains which helps a bit as well.
Octopuses have one main brain in their heads and brain cells in each of their limbs which allows them to carry out a different task with each limb at the same time. Super multitaskers. That it does, but I think a fair amount of the brain power is to ambulate.
Depends. What if one of them is a brexiteer and other is a remainder? They have 9 brains which helps a bit as well.
I thought this was one thread that might escape Brexit and Tory hatred.Depends. What if one of them is a brexiteer and other is a remainder?
