I must have missed something but why would anyone be interested in watching Jordan Henderson. Even at his peak he wasn't the sort of player you'd look forward to watching so I can't see why someone would specifically watch a match just to see him. It's not like he's Messi or Ronaldo.

I was reading that an Amsterdam based newspaper, ran an interview from the Liverpool assistant about Henderson. That has probably increased the interest as it’s apparently a glowing reference.

The Ajax fan reaction shows the profile of the Premier League I reckon. Liverpool have been one of the best teams in recent years. Henderson was captain, so his profile will be high.
