AJ Bridge going to Norwich

Yes he’s been on the bench quite a bit hasn’t he with players like McCabe and Cartwright coming through and there’s two 17 year old wonder kid twins playing for the 18s and expected to step up to 23s within 6 months

He's behind law mccabe in the pecking order of getting into the first team despite being a year older. He can probably see his chance of breaking into the first team with Boro as being very small so going to roll the dice somewhere else.

Good luck to him.

Wonder why he thinks he will be better off in Norwich's academy than ours? I know there might be other players in his position, but unless we were happy to get rid, not sure it makes a great deal of sense. Hardly round the corner. More or less moving to the other end of the country. Big move for a young kid.

Is AJ Matthews injured? Not seen him anywhere after been linked with a move in early summer. Just remembered him with mention of his initials brother.

Plus Hamelberg, Dan James, also Luke Woolston is the same age. Not even guaranteed to get a game for the u21s.

I think the Palmer twins are only 15! Your point stands though - younger players like McCabe and Cartwright have gone ahead of him. While we have other young players coming through too. We can only give opportunities to so many. Good look to the lad.

Yep, just started Y11 I think someone said on here. And made their debuts for the u18s last season ridiculously

He has been ill. Back in training this week 💪🏻

Never overly arsed about stuff like this, could well bite us in the **** in a few years time, but right now it's money for a player that would never have even made a sub appearance for us.
